A clone of the Vi text editor for Windows.

WinVi is a free and multilingual text editor that's similar to Windows Notepad, but with some extra features. If you know the Vi editor in Unix, WinVi intends to be a clone of it, but compatible with Windows systems.

As an editor WinVi is noted for allowing you to edit plain text with no limits on its compatibility with the Windows Notepad, for having a way to edit hexadecimal to generate binary files, for easy handling, for permission to use any font, for its speed, etc.

Furthermore, WinVi requires no installation, and its size is tiny.

NOTE: WinVi can be downloaded in versions for Windows 32-bit 2000, XP, Vista and 7.
